Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Noia is designed to keep as much of your information as possible on your own device. This policy explains what we collect, what never leaves your phone, and the choices you have. This draft reflects how the app is built; have it reviewed before launch.
What stays on your device
- The apps you block and your Screen Time data are handled by Apple’s on-device Family Controls and Device Activity frameworks. Noia does not transmit this information to us.
- Quiz answers are graded on your device. We don’t receive what you typed or how you did on any individual question.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a stable account identifier (and your email, if you choose to share it) so we can create your account and sync your study progress. We never receive your password.
- Subscription status. Noia Plus is sold through Apple. We receive your subscription state from Apple to unlock paid features. We do not see your payment details.
- Study progress. Your progress syncs to your Noia account so it can follow you across devices.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: to authenticate you, sync your progress, and manage your subscription. We do not use your data for advertising.
What we don’t do
No advertising networks. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell your data.
Third-party services
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and subscription billing, governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
- Google — Sign in with Google, governed by Google’s privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider, used to run the account and sync service.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your synced study data from our servers. You can cancel Noia Plus from your Apple subscription settings.
Children
Noia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
